During its October Regular Board of Education Meeting, the London City School District Board of Education approved a revised contract with Madison County Public Health to add another nurse to support district students. The additional nurse will allow LCS to reorganize current personnel in order to provide a registered nurse or a nurse aide in each building, everyday. The district used newly approved state success and wellness funds in order to provide these additional services. When asked about the additional services Dr. Kramer stated, “Learning doesn’t occur if students do not feel well or well cared for. When additional state funding became available, it was very easy to partner with Madison County Public Health to provide these additional services for our students and families.”
