Snow in October! I guess it is not too uncommon I'm just not too sure anyone is ready for this kind of weather just yet. Rain covered most of the Midwest Wednesday & Thursday keeping guys out, some since last Friday. Now is a great time to take a mid harvest break to spend time with the family and re boot before the final leg. This week we had BBI Training to become more knowledgeable about he product line and to better serve our customers. For you deer hunters out there, get out in the woods this weekend, we are just ahead of the rut and the next couple weeks will be great hunting!
Good Luck

Have a Great Weekend

Copperhead Combine Concaves, How Can They Help You?

The Copperhead Concave system is made from larger, round bars spaced further apart than factory concaves. This allows grain to move through them at a faster pace. This system eliminates rotor loss while increasing capacity in ALL Crops!

Cassie's Country Cupboard Weekly Recipe:
Granola Stuffed Apples
Another slow cooker recipe, this time using more of those in-season apples! I recommend using a melon-baller for a quick and easy way to core the apples.

Granola Stuffed Apples

I ngredients:

5 medium cooking apples
1 c. granola
3 T. butter, melted
Pure maple syrup
Cinnamon
Vanilla ice cream

Directions:

Slice off the top of the apples. Core apples, leaving as much of the bottom as possible. Place in slow cooker and stuff apples with granola. Drizzle apples with melted butter and about 1 teaspoon of maple syrup on each apple. Cover and cook on High for 2 - 2 1/2 hours, or until apples are just tender. Be careful not to overcook! Remove apples from cooker when ready to serve, drizzle with more syrup, sprinkle with cinnamon, and serve with a scoop of ice cream.
