Join Us for the Rainbow Days Training Summer 2022 "Five Fridays" Workshop Series

Rainbow Days Training is pleased to announce the Summer 2022 "Five Fridays" Virtual Workshop Series. Join us on five Friday mornings this summer, from 9:30am-11:00am, as we learn more about important topics facing our communities today!  

Cost: $40 per workshop. You will receive 1.5 CEs for each completed workshop. For discount information when registering large groups and/or full series registration, please contact Wendi McMullen, Rainbow Days Training Manager.

Full attendance is required. We are unable to provide partial workshop credit.

Kids’ Connection, Youth Connection, and Kids’ Connection, Too (collectively known as the CBSG® Program ) are unique, interactive, multi-cultural curriculum-based prevention interventions that teach high-risk children and youth ages 4-17 a set of essential life skills: skills to help them learn how to cope with difficult family situations (which include Adverse Childhood Experiences), resist negative peer pressure, set and achieve goals, and refuse alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. 

This training is designed to fully prepare schools, community-based organizations, churches, juvenile justice divisions, volunteers, and other youth service professionals to fully implement the CBSG Program with fidelity. 

Those completing this training will receive their choice one of the CBSG Program Facilitator manuals:
  • Kids’ Connection for ages 4-12 in Schools and Communities
  • Youth Connection for ages 10-17 in Schools and Communities
  • Kids’ Connection, Too for Ages 4-15 in Homeless & Domestic Violence Shelters, Group Homes & Other Transitional Living Environments

NEW Virtual CBSG® Program Refresher Training
August 3rd | 9am-12:30pm
Join us for the NEW 3.5 hour CBSG® Program Facilitator Refresher Training! This training will provide participants an opportunity to connect with other trained facilitators, be reenergized and become familiar with the 2022 Revised Kids’ Connection and Youth Connection manuals.

Topics covered will include:

  • Implementation Fidelity

  • Managing Challenging Behavior
  • Communication with Partners and Parents
  • Attending to Self-Care

This is an opportunity to dialogue with other facilitators and share your triumphs and challenges! Please note that you must have previously completed the 7-hour CBSG® Program Facilitator Training before attending the Refresher training. This virtual Open Enrollment Refresher Training is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3rd from 9:00am-12:30pm CDT. Space is limited – Register Now! Cost is $75 per person.
