Introducing RYSE Ensemble

RYSE (Rainey Youth for Symphonic-Social Elevation) unites 3rd - 12th grade student musicians from throughout Greater Cleveland in a pre-professional, Popular Music ensemble program and immersive civic engagement experience. This combination creates a truly unique experience in which young artists are able to connect, grow, and affect positive change through the power of unity and music! Introducing Rainey Connections

New, unique, and exciting Saturday programs, offered by Rainey’s community partners STEM Forged, Future Ink Graphics, and Buck Out Cleveland, allow Rainey Kids to explore Video Game Design, Silk Screening & Print Design, and HBCU Showstyle Drumline & Majorette Dance!

Introducing Private Lessons

Our Private Lessons program has now resumed, with lessons being offered in Piano, Voice, Drums, Guitar, and Strings. Lessons for youth and intergenerational lessons (youth plus adult family member) are available throughout the week!

Pivot Center Update

Our west-side location at the Pivot Center is well on its way to completion! Check out the pictures below to see our beautiful arts center coming to life!

Pivot Center Dream Capsule Installation

In the lobby of the Pivot Center, you will also discover Dream Capsule, an art installation envisioned, led, and constructed by Meng-Hsuan Wu. In Spring 2022, Meng conducted a community arts project in collaboration with the Rainey community- students, faculty, and alumni! Participants learned about origami, sound art, and 3-D printing and design over several weeks. The final installation is interactive: by pressing the button next to each 3-D printed paper airplane, you can hear the artist read a letter written to their future selves about their hopes, dreams, and plans. Stop by the Pivot Center lobby any day from 10am - 5pm to see the installation! Thank you to Ohio Arts Council and the William M. Weiss Foundation for supporting Dream Capsule.
