We hope you had a chance to enjoy a holiday break and that you are staying safe and healthy in the new year. As we continue on with Moses Taylor Foundation’s strategy to expand school-based health and support school nurses, we’re excited to share a quick update and call-to-action. 
We Need Your Help: Share Your Nurse Perspective Video
This year, we will continue efforts to raise awareness about your role. The Foundation plans to create and release two videos in conjunction with National School Nurse Day on May 4 — and we need your help!  

The first video will be shared with the general public through social media and email. It’s your chance to create a 15- to 30-second clip about what you want the community to know about your role. 

The second video will be shared only with administrators. We’d ask you to submit (again, in 30 seconds or less) a clip about what you wish administrators, staff, and school board members knew about your role.

In the News: Assessing the Needs of NEPA School Nurses
In mid-December, WBRE/WYOU’s Health Reporter, Mark Hiller, interviewed Wilkes-Barre Area School District’s Tracey Glynn-Roulinavage to shine a light on the importance of school nurses in our region. The story aired during prime time on the evening news and was also shared on the WBRE/WYOU social media pages.
