The Circus is Tutu Cruel

Cynthia King Dance Studio is hosting a fabulous, fun, and free event on Tuesday, February 17 for children and adults, during which we'll be painting posters and dancing in costumes as we prepare for our annual

 Rally for the Animals.

What: FREE Poster Party

Where: Cynthia King Dance Studio, 21 Snyder Avenue

When: Tuesday, February 17 from 2-4pm

Why: To prepare for the Rally for the Animals

Through artistic expression, our children will be given the opportunity to put their innate sense of social responsibility into action.

We understand that for those of you for whom attending the circus was a childhood tradition, the words "circus" and "suffering" may not go together, but the lives of circus animals are filled with misery and abuse.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has a well-documented history of using inhumane training methods and has been charged with dozens of violations of the Animal Welfare Act by the USDA. We are encouraging all of our neighbors to stand against this cruelty to animals

and not attend the circus.

Instead, you are welcome to join us to Rally for the Animals!

What: Rally for the Animals

Where: Barclays Center

When: Thursday, February 19 from 5:00pm-6:30pm

Why: To protest the inhumane treatment of animals in the circus

RSVP by February 3 to info@cynthiakingdance.com

Costumes are limited (though not required to rally!)

We look forward to speaking with you and hope to see you soon!
