Arvada, CO is fortunate to be surrounded by world class universities and community colleges where you can see theater and music performances, art installations, take online classes and soak up the college lifestyle often for free or low cost.

Every year since 1948, the University of Colorado in Boulder hosts the student lead Conference on World Affairs. The CWA is a premier forum for discussion of world affairs, attracting a diverse group of experts and engaging panelists from around the world.

This year, due to Covid-19, a virtual special World Affairs Conference will be held on September 10 and 11 for free. 20+ speakers are featured on the themes of “Human Connection” and “Leadership”. Go to to RSVP and see the speakers list.
