The Road to Bethlehem THURSDAY
 December 17th from 5:30-6:30pm

All are welcome to visit the town of Bethlehem! Things are all stirred up with the census, travelers, and unexpected visitors. Come and experience this amazing scene from the warmth and comfort of your car as you witness the story of the birth of our Savior live on Thursday.

Thank you in advance for your help with costuming. Please note that this is a required event for all students.

DECEMBER 21-23rd

We are scheduled for full school days on Dec. 21 & 22, and a half day on the 23rd.  We are going to shift those days to asynchronous virtual learning days.  This means that while those days will count as school days, students will be working from home on their own.
Teachers will send home work ahead of time and be available for questions during a block of time on Monday and Tuesday for questions. However, they will not be doing any direct instruction. Your child is welcome to do the assigned work for those days at any time over Christmas break. It will be due when we return to school in January. The purpose of this change of venue is 2-fold: 1. It allows for additional time away from large groups as we continue battling COVID. 2. It lets our custodians do a mid-year carpet cleaning in the classroom that is much needed since we are eating in our rooms this year.

I apologize in advance for any inconveniences this causes. Please know that our Child Care will be open and available these days for any families that are in need. Contact Michelle Keller at 920/261-0242 to reserve a spot. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

The staff of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and School wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as we all pray for a better 2021 COVID free. Please take time this break to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus.

While it is our intention to return to full face to face instruction on Jan. 4th, please keep an eye on your email as that day draws near for any change to possible virtual instruction should COVID numbers in our area dictate a shift in learning venue.

The other day a student came up to me and asked in a mumbly voice for what I thought was a hug. I gave him a great big hug and when I was done. he said, " Now can I have a cup? The hug was great but I really asked for a cup."
