LIVE Lunch with the Chamber
For yesterday's LIVE Lunch with the Ramona Chamber we did a broadcast at the Chamber office with Janna York of Always Sunny, Senior Day Care Club. See the Facebook LIVE video to learn about this great addition to Ramona! If you are a Chamber member and are interested in being featured on a LIVE Lunch broadcast, let us know. Excerpt from the Ramona Home Journal: The Ramona Chamber of Commerce sponsored the Shop Ramona contest over the holidays. The winner received a $2,500 shopping spree at local stores. This contest generated more than $92,000 spent right here in Ramona. Thirty people entered the contest and submitted over 1,000 receipts. What a huge success for everyone. 

Most importantly, our local stores received the benefit of the business. Nobody wants to see a business close, but the simple fact is that if we don’t spend our money with them, it’s hard to keep the doors open. Successful businesses attract other new businesses and employ more residents. Ramona has a large population and can support more stores and jobs...

The Chamber Corner
We include some updates regularly to ensure that new subscribers are aware of these opportunities:

  • Small Business Stimulus Grant funding is available until it is exhausted, or 2024. Please answer these questions to determine your eligibility.
  • SBA Microloans are available through certain nonprofit, community-based organizations which are experienced in lending and business management assistance. Individual requirements will vary.
  • Do you know someone in need of food or other assistance? Please visit our community resources webpage, RamonaResources.com.
As many of you know, our town's historic Christmas tree loses more branches every year and we will need to replace it soon; a new tree will cost about $20,000! Fundraising for a new tree is underway and will continue throughout 2023.

If you would like to contribute, you can name your price: donations can easily be made online (below). If you prefer to pay by phone or check, please contact our office. Many thanks those who have already contributed!

$1,000+ sponsors will be listed on a plaque that will be hung at the tree every year (and on display at the Chamber office the rest of the year).
