An extra benefit is being featured in an advertisement in the Ramona Sentinel the week after broadcast.

The 2024 Ramona Trail Challenge is happening now, April - June!
Over those three months, we will be enjoying some of the awesome hiking trails that Ramona has to offer, so come on out and bring your friends!
Every month, we will feature two trails to hike, bike, or equestrian ride. Don’t worry about summits, just get out and enjoy our trails! After you are done, swing by Kit Fox Outfitters and pick your stickers for the month! Easy and FUN!

The Ramona Chamber of Commerce, the Kiwanis Club of Ramona, and the Ramona Rotary are working together to bring back the annual fireworks display for the 4th of July Community Celebration.
For this event, we must raise at least $45,000 and are looking for vendors, donations, sponsors, and volunteers!

At our official weekend fundraising locations starting June 1st at Albertsons, Ransom Bros. Ace, and Stater Bros. between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
At the Chamber Office with cash, check, or credit card at 1306 Main St., Suite 103 between 10am -3pm, Mon-Fri.
Over the phone with a credit card at 760-789-1311.

Purchase Shed Raffle Tickets for a wonderful 8x8 ft. storage shed (built by Nick Jordan and Montecito High School's construction class). This shed is wired with a light and an outlet. Proceeds will be donated to the Ramona fireworks fund. Raffle tickets are $10 each, 6 for $50, 14 for $100. The winner will be drawn on event day at 4pm. Raffle tickets be available at the Chamber office.

Ramona Unified School District WorkAbility I (WAI) program
Do you need employees? The Ramona Unified School District WorkAbility I (WAI) program Is looking for potential job sites for student workers.
WorkAbility is a partnership program that helps high school students with disabilities transition successfully to adult life. It provides assistance to students who lack the confidence or ability to compete for jobs on their own. With the support of trained job placement specialists and participating businesses, these students grow in confidence, skills and work maturity which will greatly enhance their ability to develop into permanently employed citizens.

Although we haven't yet met our goal to cover the entire cost, the Chamber covered the remaining amount so we could all enjoy a well-deserved new tree!
