City of Rancho Cordova Economic Development can help.

In the the City of Rancho Cordova Economic Development Department, we connect your business to the resources and assistance you need to thrive and expand. We've recently rolled out our Business Retention Program to proactively connect with our businesses. We love hearing your successes, sharing your business with our local market and connecting to resources that solve problems and maximize results.

Northern California World Trade Center can help.

With the region's proximity to ports, seaways, airways and international markets, the greater Sacramento region is uniquely positioned to increase exports and more actively participate in the global marketplace. The Northern California World Trade Center works towards a more internationally-connected and economically-vibrant region. It is excited to continue offering trade education programs for the area's companies.

"Our programs, especially the Exporter Roundtable Series and International Marketing Professionals Connection, have been so well received by international businesses across the region," said NorCalWTC's CEO Renée Taylor. "We're looking forward to getting the word out and letting more people know that there are these resources to help companies grow."

The NorCalWTC launched the Exporter Roundtable Series in 2014 and expanded it last year. The program, which now holds six round tables a year, brings together executives from the area's exporting companies to meet and discuss trade topics that range from navigating corruption in foreign markets to capitalizing on available export incentives.

A similar program focusing on the needs of international marketing professionals was launched in 2015 and expanded this year. The International Marketing Professionals Connection helps marketing professionals strategize together and take their company's global marketing to the next level.

In addition to these programs, the NorCalWTC hosts several events that bring together the region's international trade community.  By providing these programs and events, the NorCalWTC is working to foster the growth of internationally-oriented businesses in Northern California.

Rancho Cordova Office Park Feedback Forum  & Bike Way  Improvements

The City of Rancho Cordova held an Office Park Feedback Forum to get feedback from businesses in our office buildings on things that affect our workdays including food, bus service, walkability, child care, connectivity and more.  Invitations were focused in our core office park area between Hwy 50, Sunrise Blvd., International Drive to Capital Center Drive. We received great feedback, including the desire for more things to do after work, drop-in exercise, medical services, a "main street" walking area and easier biking and walking access overall. The City of Rancho Cordova is assisting and facilitating projects that help meet these needs. If fact, we just finalized our 2016 Master Bike Plan that coordinates 28 path improvement projects. City of Rancho Cordova offering free environmental analysis with Brownfields Grants

The City of Rancho Cordova has grant funding available through the Environmental Protection Agency to test commercial property sites that may have been contaminated by a previous owner or user. We are currently offering assistance with properties that may have been exposed to petroleum related contamination. Upon completion of the Brownfields analysis, an engineering firm provides a free report to the property owner. The purpose of the report is so the property owner can learn more about the site and provide information that may prove useful if the property will potentially be redeveloped or sold.
