DECEMBER 2 0 2 1
The Thoroughbred neighborhood holiday lights display area has been designated as Drive-Thru Only for December 3rd - 5th and December 10th - 24th, 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Pedestrian access is permitted December 6th - 9th from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

This ordinance was established several years ago to reduce the mix of vehicles and pedestrians during high volume evening and weekend hours. Deputies will be actively enforcing this ordinance and violators are subject to a citation and fine.

We encourage everyone to follow the ordinance, obey traffic laws, and most importantly, be safe and enjoy!
After nearly two years of community visioning, analysis, planning, and review of the Draft General Plan, the City of Rancho Cucamonga City Council will consider the updated General Plan, Environmental Impact Report, Housing Element, and Climate Action Plan for adoption. We appreciate the community involvement in the updating of this important blueprint for the future of our city! Whether you responded to an online survey, joined a virtual meeting, or visited with the team at a pop-up event, your participation was valuable and essential to the process.

Please join us for the public hearing at the City Council meeting on December 15, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall - Council Chambers, 10500 Civic Center Drive.

General plan documents are available at
Join us on Saturday, December 11th from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (12556 S Mainstreet #1760) at Victoria Gardens and get to know the men and women of your Rancho Cucamonga Police Department.

We have missed being able to connect with our community and hope you will join us for a chat and a cup of coffee!
Stop proposed redistricting from splitting Rancho Cucamonga in two! The proposed Congressional, State Assembly and Senate District maps unnecessarily split our community and our neighborhoods.

We are pleased to announce that the Rancho Cucamonga Public Library will soon launch a “Library of Things” collection. To help us get started and to create the best collection possible, we want your recommendations for Things!

Not quite sure what a Library of Things collection is? Here are some scenarios:
  • Planning some home improvements and need a specific tool? Check it out from the Library.
  • Planning an epic holiday party and need bakeware or an air fryer? Check those out from the Library.
  • Planning a staycation and need games and activities? Check them out from the Library.

This project is supported in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act, administered in California by the State Librarian and California State Library
It's that time of year again! The Rancho Cucamonga Fire District and our Rancho Cucamonga Firefighters are participating once again in the Spark of Love Toy Drive. All 7 fire stations, City Hall, and both RC libraries are now accepting new, unwrapped toys and sporting goods for all ages until December 25th. A big THANK YOU to our amazing #RCcommUNITY for always helping out with this great cause!

While donating in-person, we will be following COVID-19 public health guidelines with masks required if unvaccinated and social distancing at fire stations and City Hall.

For more information, please visit www.RCFire.Org.
Did you know more than one-third of home decoration fires are started by candles?

According to the National Fire Protection Association, two out of every five decoration fires occur because decorations are placed too close to heat sources.
We all enjoy decorating our homes to create that magical, festive environment during the holidays.
However, your Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District wants you and your loved ones to remain safe this season by following these tips!
The Victoria Gardens Cultural Center is thrilled to present holiday magic on Thursdays in December! The 2021 Holiday Concert Series is generously underwritten by U.S. Bank through a grant received by the Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation.

COVID-19 Testing Location

Free COVID-19 testing is available at the RC Sports Center (8303 Rochester Ave.) Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. provided by San Bernardino County Department of Public Health Tuesday.

Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are accepted based on availability. To book a testing appointment, click HERE and to book a vaccine appointment, click HERE.

San Bernardino County is happy to offer boosters to our community and encourages those that are eligible to take advantage of the opportunity to receive a booster. A booster vaccine is recommended to maintain protection against COVID-19, including the Delta and Omicron variants. The San Bernardino County Department of Public Health would like to remind residents that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) expanded booster dose eligibility to include anyone age 18 or older if:
-it’s been six or more months since your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or
-it’s been two or more months since your dose of Johnson & Johnson.
Eligible individuals are now allowed to mix and match their COVID-19 vaccine booster. Some people may prefer the vaccine type that they originally received, and others may prefer to get a different booster.
Contact your provider directly to confirm if you need to bring your vaccine card. If you make an appointment at a San Bernardino County vaccine clinic or special pop-up event, please bring your vaccine card. If you have lost your vaccine card please refer to this website:
