Join the Rancho Cucamonga Public Library in the month of February for a virtual experience, theCelebrating Black Authors Reading Challenge. A play on the Library’s annual Black History Month Cultural Arts Night, this month-long community reading challenge invites people to a virtual celebration to explore the contributions of Black authors throughout American history. The challenge offers an array of virtual activities for all ages, highlighting a different time period, and contributors to American Black history. Readers can track their reading to earn virtual badges and tickets for raffle drawings of and Barnes & Noble eGift cards. Super readers and those hungry for more history may earn extra raffle tickets by logging up to 25 hours of reading and completing each optional activity badge.

Our goal as a community is to read and log 100,000 minutes during the month of February. The Library invites you to join the Celebrating Black Authors Reading Challenge.
