Testing: Updated Hours
Beginning Monday January 11th, the RC Sports Center (8303 Rochester Ave.) will offer COVID-19 testing by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. This free testing is provided by the County of San Bernardino Department of Public Health and no symptoms or health insurance are required. To book an appointment, click HERE.
Quarantine and Isolation Calculator
The County of San Bernardino has released a Quarantine and Isolation Calculator to help determine how long you should self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19 or being exposed to someone who has tested positive. Remember to continue to follow the three W’s: “Wear a Face Covering,” “Wash Your Hands,” and “Watch your Distance Between Others.” As COVID-19 cases continue to rise, all residents of California have been asked to stay at home as much as possible and limit gatherings with large groups. Together, we can work together to flatten the curve and decrease the amount of people who are exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
Vaccinations
First responders in Rancho Cucamonga and throughout San Bernardino County have begun to receive COVID-19 vaccinations as part of the County’s vaccine roadmap. Your Rancho Cucamonga firefighters have been among some of the many to receive the first round of vaccines as part of Tier 1 of Phase 1A. As the City works closely with the County to provide information and resources regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, we encourage you to stay connected with us on social media and our website. To learn more about the vaccine roadmap and to read Frequently Asked Questions, visit the County’s vaccine webpage.
For San Bernardino County COVID-19 related information, including case statistics, FAQs, guidelines and resources, visit the County’s COVID-19 webpage.
Residents of San Bernardino County may also call the COVID-19 helpline at (909) 387-3911 for general information and resources about the virus. The phone line is NOT for medical calls and is available Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If you have questions about social services, please call 211.

KEEP YOUR HOME HEALTHY AND SAFE
|
|
Keep your home healthy and safe by staying up-to-date on which household items you should keep out of your regular trash bins. Some surprising everyday products, such as leftover household cleaners, batteries, paint, motor oil, electronics, and cooking oil, qualify as hazardous or toxic and require disposal at the City’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Facility. Make sure to research items before you dispose of them in your trash.
Rancho Cucamonga residents can properly dispose of these and other household toxics by visiting the City’s HHW Collection Facility. There is a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of waste per trip and waste must be in containers no larger than 5 gallons. The facility does not accept sharps or business waste.
The Rancho Cucamonga HHW Facility is open the first and third Saturday every month from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., except holiday weekends and is located at 8794 Lion Street, Rancho Cucamonga. Guidelines require participants to wear a facemask and have their waste in the trunk of their car before leaving home. Before visiting the facility, please review the list of acceptable waste items, and all of the guidelines, that are listed on the City’s website at the link below.
The City’s HHW is limiting use of the facility to 200 vehicles due to the high volume of waste and participants, so please be prepared for long wait times. Rancho Cucamonga residents are able to properly dispose of their household toxics at any of the San Bernardino County operated HHW collection facilities. Visit www.tootoxictotrash.com or call 1-800-645-9228 for locations and hours of operation.
