URBAN FOREST MANAGEMENT PLAN

The City of Rancho Cucamonga is developing an Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) to improve the health and sustainability of trees and green spaces within the community. The UFMP will incorporate urban forest management best practices, greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction goals established in the City’s Climate Action Plan, and wildfire prevention policies. The UFMP will serve as a comprehensive strategic plan for the City’s urban forest management over the next 50 years to guide efforts in managing the urban forest in alignment with the community’s vision and priorities. Through the UFMP process and implementation, the City hopes to cultivate a more sustainable and resilient urban forest for all.

RC’s UFMP Team is excited to partner with community stakeholders on this critical plan for our community. Please take our brief survey to guide RC in its UFMP development priorities by clicking HERE.
