FOUR STORIES.

ONE POWERFUL WEEKEND.

Four distinct lived experiences come together for one unforgettable weekend of storytelling at the Lewis Family Playhouse (12505 Cultural Center Dr.).

It all begins on Friday, April 10 with I’m Not a Comedian… I’m Lenny Bruce, written and performed by Ronnie Marmo, who offers a fearless portrayal of the legendary Lenny Bruce, a man who changed comedy forever with nothing but his voice and his truth.

On Saturday, April 11, the day opens with Makin’ Cake, featuring poet and performer Dasha Kelly Hamilton. Blending storytelling, visuals, and a live baking experience, the show explores themes of race, class, and community in a uniquely engaging way.

Later that evening, The Accidental Hero takes the stage, as Patrick Dewane shares a remarkable true story of his grandfather’s experiences during World War II—uncovering a legacy of courage, resilience, and connection.

The weekend concludes Sunday, April 12 with Not the Right Mom, written and performed by Megan Dolan. Through humor and heartfelt honesty, Dolan shares her journey of parenting a child with autism, reminding us that the most meaningful moments often come when we let go of perfection and simply show up.

Each performance offers a distinct lived experience, creating a weekend of powerful storytelling that connects us all. Purchase your tickets today by clicking the button below.
