A SPOONFUL OF MAGIC:
MARY POPPINS TAKES THE STAGE
| | |
Mary Poppins the Musical, presented by Inland Pacific Ballet and the Candlelight Pavilion, takes the stage March 7-15 at the Lewis Family Playhouse (12505 Cultural Center Dr.) and invites audiences to step into a world that has charmed generations. Based on the books by P. L. Travers and the classic Disney film, this magical musical follows the Banks family of London in 1910.
When the practically perfect nanny arrives, she brings a whirlwind of adventures, unforgettable songs, and gentle lessons that remind everyone that “anything can happen if you let it.” With dazzling dance numbers that blend lively musical theater and graceful ballet, spectacular effects, and a heartwarming message, Mary Poppins is a joyful celebration of family, imagination, and the magic that happens when you open your heart.

Construction is underway on a new outdoor stage at the Lewis Family Playhouse, expanding opportunities for performances and community events. To accommodate this project, the Donor Brick Walk (installed in 2006) was removed from the Bank of America Imagination Courtyard.
Due to age and wear, some bricks were damaged during removal. Letters were mailed to original purchasers; donors who did not receive one—or know someone who purchased a brick—are encouraged to contact us.
Brick pickup can be arranged through the Box Office (Tuesday–Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.) by Friday, February 27. While the bricks will not be part of the new design, donors will be recognized when the enhanced courtyard opens in early 2026.
For questions, please contact the Box Office at BoxOffice@CityofRC.us or 1-909-477-2752.
