On Thursday, April 16, the Rancho Cucamonga Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Rancho Cucamonga will host the 2026 Mayor’s State of the City Address—an annual gathering where our business community, educators, non-profits, and local partners come together to celebrate how far we’ve come and to look ahead at the exciting opportunities on the horizon.
Centered around this year’s theme, “All Roads Lead to RC,” the Address will shine a light on the people, partnerships, and projects driving Rancho Cucamonga forward. From major infrastructure upgrades and new mobility connections to fresh housing, dining, and cultural experiences, attendees will get an early look at the progress shaping our city during and kicking off the celebration of the centennial anniversary of Route 66.

RING IN THE YEAR OF THE HORSE AT THE
LUNAR NEW YEAR FESTIVAL

The City of Rancho Cucamonga, in partnership with the California Culture Festival, invites the community to celebrate the Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Horse at a free, two-day festival.
The festival will take place on Saturday, January 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, January 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the RC Sports Center (8303 Rochester Ave.).
This vibrant cultural event will feature a mix of traditional and contemporary performances, authentic cuisine from local food vendors, engaging hands-on activities, and a variety of artisan booths offering hand-crafted goods. Attendees of all ages are encouraged to enjoy a celebration that highlights cultural heritage, creativity, and community connection.

| | LOW-COST SPAY AND NEUTER CLINIC FOR COMMUNITY CATS | | |
The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Center (11780 Arrow Route) will host a Spay It Forward Community Cat Spay & Neuter Clinic on Tuesday, January 13, serving community cats and owned outdoor cats within Rancho Cucamonga.
Appointments are required and must be scheduled in-person by Friday, January 9, along with a non-refundable $20 fee. Each household may schedule up to three cats, and space is limited to 25 cats total. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., with pick-up at 4:30 p.m.
All cats will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and ear tipped, with microchipping available for an additional $25. Cats must be transported in a humane trap or hard-sided carrier, and caregivers must provide proof of Rancho Cucamonga residency.

Healthy RC is looking for volunteers for the upcoming Point-in-Time Count—a count of sheltered and unsheltered people experiencing homelessness on a single day in January.
The Point-In-Time Count will be held on Thursday, January 22, from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Arrive: 5:30 a.m.
- Count/Survey: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
- Deployment Center: 10500 Civic Center Dr. (Rancho Cucamonga City Hall)
