CELEBRATE INDPENDENCE DAY
WITH FIREWORKS AND FAMILY FUN

Make plans to celebrate Independence Day at Rancho Cucamonga's annual 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular, presented by Peli Plumbing, on Saturday, July 4, at the RC Epicenter Sports Complex (8408 Rochester Avenue).
Enjoy an evening of live music from Chris Lozano Band, family-friendly activities, great food, and a spectacular fireworks show synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and the fireworks begin at 9:00 p.m.
Tables are sold out, but general admission tickets are still available for just $15 per person.
Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged.

Sunny skies and warmer temperatures are here for the summer! If you have a pool at home, please practice water safety and designate a water watcher when children are playing in or around water. Remember, children can drown without a sound. Practice the ABCs of water safety:
A- Active supervision at all times by designating a water watcher.
B- Barriers should be up around the pool to prevent children from falling in.
C- Classes can help young swimmers be confident in water. We encourage you to enroll your kids when classes are available.

Get ready to explore the flavors of Rancho Cucamonga and Ontario! GOCAL’s Restaurant Month returns July 1–31, highlighting local favorites, hidden gems, chef-driven spots, coffee shops, family-owned restaurants, and more throughout the region.
Community members are invited to sign up for the free GOCAL Restaurant Month Digital Passport, visit participating restaurants throughout July, and check in during each visit to earn entries for exciting prizes. The digital passport makes it easy to discover new places, unlock exclusive offers, and track your progress right from your phone. No printed passport or app download is required.
Restaurant Month is a great way to support local businesses, celebrate the region’s diverse culinary community, and discover something new close to home.

The City of Rancho Cucamonga will implement new start times for City Council and Planning Commission meetings beginning July 2026.
Starting with the July 8 meeting, Planning Commission meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Starting with the July 15 meeting, City Council meetings will begin at 6:00 p.m. (July 1 and August 5 City Council meetings have been cancelled).
While meeting start times are changing, meeting days will remain the same:
- City Council meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month.
- Planning Commission meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month.
Community members are encouraged to review agendas in advance, attend meetings in person, or watch meetings live and on-demand online. For more information, click the button below.

Randall Lewis Second Story and Beyond® has partnered with Bruster’s Ice Cream (Rancho Cucamonga and Eastvale locations) on an ice cream flavor!
Bruster’s is serving up Burr Berry and Beyond (blue raspberry ice and lemon sorbet*) until Monday, August 31. This flavor was named by the community in a contest that ran during the month of June. The Randall Lewis Second Story and Beyond® (12505 Cultural Center Drive), July STEM Lab programming is coming in hot! This month we are all about hands-on creativity and imagination in our new cardboard makerspace, "Beyond the Box Studio."
Children and families will have the opportunity to transform recycled cardboard materials into amazing creations. Using our kid-friendly electric cardboard cutter, handheld tools, connectors, and more, guests will be able to construct their own inventions. Whether it’s a robot, animal, vehicle, or something entirely new. If you can dream it then you can make it!
Why Cardboard? Cardboard is more than just a box—it’s a great tool to promote learning! Children will be able to plan, design, and build which helps encourage:
- Engineering and creativity
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Fine motor skills and communication

The City of Rancho Cucamonga’s award-winning Healthy RC Youth Leaders Program is now recruiting students for the 2026–2027 school year!
Middle and high school students are invited to get involved and make a positive impact in their community. This unique opportunity allows students to build leadership skills, collaborate with peers, and contribute to projects that focus on mental health, sustainability, equity, and overall community well-being. Take the lead, have fun, and be part of the change! Use your voice to influence policies and programs that improve life in Rancho Cucamonga.
