KEEP RANCHO CUCAMONGA SAFE
REPORT ILLEGAL FIREWORKS
| |
The safety of our RCcommUNITY remains a top priority, which is why the Rancho Cucamonga Fire District wants to remind all residents, businesses, and visitors about the dangers of fireworks.
Fireworks can cause fires, property damage, injuries and even death. Not to mention, the unexpected loud noises can be traumatic for our sound sensitive neighbors including our veterans and pets.
For this reason, all fireworks are prohibited in the City of Rancho Cucamonga, including safe and sane fireworks.
How to report the use or sales of illegal fireworks:
- Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., call the Fire District at 1-909-477-2770
- After hours and on weekends, report to non-emergency dispatch at 1-909-941-1488
-
24/7 via the City’s RC2GO Reporting Portal
We encourage you to be as specific as possible when reporting, including specific addresses when possible. Your efforts to report fireworks help keep our community safe.
The Fire District also provides the opportunity to surrender fireworks at any time, no questions asked. Call 1-909-477-2770 or email at RCfire@CityofRC.us to schedule a pickup.
We hope you join this community-wide effort to decrease injuries and prevent fires, and we encourage you to enjoy a professional fireworks display whenever possible, as they are monitored and managed for the safety of others. Your Fire District wants you to celebrate a great holiday, but please be safe and keep your fellow neighbor in mind.
