As more people are experiencing stress, they look for ways to positively impact their mental health. Listening to podcasts can help individuals find resources to educate themselves on sensitive topics at their discretion.
Over the past two years, Randi’s House of Angels (RHOA) has been engaged in providing training to the community to better understand how domestic violence impacts many families and children. As a result, we have produced a series of ten (10) podcasts that will bring this growing epidemic of domestic violence to the forefront of public consciousness. The podcasts will include an overview of healthy relationships, the different types of abuse, supporting someone who is engaged in an unhealthy relationship, and criminal justice resources available to victims. It will also include testimony and stories from courageous survivors who were victims of domestic violence as well as a victim turned abuser who is on a journey of healing by helping victims and abusers alike.
By creating a dedicated platform, RHOA hopes to create a safe space for victims and survivors, as advocates, experts, and survivors share their stories, insights, and knowledge. We are hopeful that the podcasts will serve as a catalyst for raising awareness and fostering necessary conversations within families, empower individuals, and inspire collective action toward eradicating domestic violence.
