Random Acts of Kindness Week
How often have you texted somebody good morning, left a positive comment on a website or even complimented a person for the way they parallel parked?

If not, now is a good time time to start and then make it a goal to continue. That's because February 17th - 23rd is Random Acts of Kindness Week, dedicated to making an effort to brighten somebody’s day.

This link has some excellent ideas for random acts, such as the ones mentioned above and how individuals, schools and offices can take part, with the goal of making kindness the norm, no matter how big or small the gesture. Many of the ideas work particularly well during a pandemic.

As life care planners, we at Paladin Life Care are involved with our clients everyday and practice acts of kindness as a rule. You can, too!

  • For your workplace, click here for ways to create a culture of kindness.

  • Visit here for tips on how couples can bring positivity to communities.

  • This link will take you to some ideas about practicing kindness in the classroom.

And just for a little more motivation, here is a quote that inspires us. We hope it does for you, too!

There is no need to wait for the celebratory week to perform acts of kindness. As we mentioned, let's make it a year-round goal!

If you have questions or thoughts about random acts of kindness, please don't hesitate to contact us!

Sincerely,
Alice

Welcome Pat Velander, RN, BS, MS
A few years ago, as her mother's health declined, Pat became the primary caregiver, making sure her mother was in the proper facilities getting the right type of care. This inspired Pat to serve the senior population, earning a Master’s Degree in Health Care Management. She joined a home health care company as the RN Community Care Coordinator and assisted patients with nursing assessments, scheduling caregivers and managing insurance. Pat will be a true asset to our clients at Paladin Life Care.
