Rebuilding Delaware's Workforce
Through Rapid Retraining
Yesterday, Governor Carney joined Secretary Cerron Cade and workforce development partners, Gary Stockbridge and Mark Brainard, to provide an update on the Rapid Workforce Training and Redeployment Initiative for Delaware workers displaced during the COVID-19 crisis, which was established under Executive Order #43.
The place where jobseekers find training to enhance or gain skills; and employers connect with a qualified workforce.

Brookfield Properties is a global real estate services company, managing, leasing and re-envisioning one of the largest retail portfolios in the United States. Their regional shopping centers create a sense of place in the key markets throughout the country, encompassing 170+ locations across 43 states and representing over 150 million square feet of retail real estate — including Delaware's Christiana Mall. As the trend towards online retail shopping continues to rise, CEO Jared Chupaila will discuss what the future looks like for malls and the retail industry as a whole.


The State Chamber is partnering with the Federal Reserve to conduct the 2020 Small Business Credit Survey. This survey reaches thousands of small businesses like yours and provides vital information to policymakers who are weighing decisions that affect small businesses. The survey closes October 31, 2020.
