Week of March 17-21, 2025

Did you know that there are only 10 weeks left before the end of the school year? This does include our Spring Break week, March 31st - April 4th. However, before we know it the 2024-2025 school year will be over. Over the course of the next quarter, there is a lot of events and activities planned. Yet, our focus must be on ensuring that our students are prepared for the next grade level.

The third nine weeks grading period is ending, so if you have a question about your child's grades please reach out to your child's teacher. Also, if you are curious about learning ways to support your child during the end-of-year testing, make plans to attend our next Parent Information Session coming up on April 24th. Report Cards will be sent home via PowerSchool next week, so make sure you are able to access PowerSchool.

Our third graders had an exciting visit last week from Rutherford Outdoor Coalition’s mascot - Rocki the Raccoon! Rocki and friends from ROC were here to get our third graders pumped up about their involvement in the Recycle Bot county-wide competition. In their Art and Outdoor Ed classes for the next few weeks, students will be constructing “Recycle Bots” out of upcycled materials. If you have materials you can donate, please send them in to Ms. Warner or Mrs. Searcy’s classroom.
