Fueling Futures: New Food Trailer Brings Healthy Eats to LLCA

Get ready, LLCA families! We're thrilled to announce the arrival of our brand-new food trailer, a delicious and nutritious option for lunch meals. Thanks to generous grant funding from the Rutherford Legacy Foundation and Gateway Health along with food donations from various organizations,, we're launching this exciting initiative to provide our students with access to healthy, affordable meals right here on campus.

What's on the Menu?

Our food trailer will feature a rotating menu of fresh, flavorful dishes designed to nourish growing minds and bodies. We're committed to using high-quality ingredients, including locally sourced produce whenever possible. Expect to see options like:

● Wholesome grain bowls with lean proteins and vibrant veggies

● Fresh salads with homemade dressings

● Delicious and nutritious wraps and sandwiches

We hope to be able to accommodate diverse dietary needs and preferences. Affordable and Accessible:

We understand the importance of providing affordable meal options for our families. Thanks to the grant funding, we're able to offer these healthy meals at budget-friendly prices for the remainder of this school year. We believe that every student deserves access to nutritious food, and we're committed to making that a reality.

A Learning Experience:

Beyond providing delicious meals, our food trailer will also serve as a learning opportunity for our students. In the coming year, we plan to expand the program to include a culinary arts component, where students can gain hands-on experience in food preparation, nutrition, and entrepreneurship.

Looking to the Future:

This year's launch is just the beginning! We envision expanding the food trailer program in the next school year, adding more menu options, extending service hours, creating opportunities for student involvement and developing a nutrition curriculum. We're excited to see how this initiative grows and benefits our school community.

Stay tuned for the official launch date and menu details along with information about pre ordering meals. We encourage you to try our new food trailer and join us in promoting healthy eating at LLCA. We believe that a well-nourished student is a successful student!
