2025-2026 School Year Prep: A Note to Parents
Dear Raptor Parents and Guardians,
As we prepare to launch a new school year at Lake Lure Classical Academy, we’re filled with excitement and anticipation for the growth, learning, and community ahead. Whether you're joining us for the first time or returning after summer break, we’re thrilled to welcome you to another enriching academic journey.
Here are a few key things to help you and your family get ready:
Important Dates:
- First Day of School: Monday, August 11th
- Open House: Thursday, August 7th (10:00 AM or 6:00 PM)
- Office Hours during Teacher Workdays: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM M-F
Supplies & Uniforms:
- A full list of grade-specific school supplies is available on our website.
- LLCA students are expected to follow our dress code; uniform guidelines can also be found online or by contacting the front office.
Transportation:
- If your student requires bus transportation, please be sure to register as soon as possible.
- Routes and times will be posted prior to the start of school.
Communication:
- We encourage parents to stay connected by checking emails regularly, following LLCA’s official social media, and subscribing to the monthly newsletter.
- Teachers and staff will be available during Open House to answer any questions you may have.
Lunch Program:
- Information about meal options, pricing, and free/reduced lunch applications will be provided at orientation and on our website. We will also send out the menu for August this week.
Supporting Your Student:
- Your engagement is vital. Encouraging routines at home, supporting reading habits, and checking in regularly about classroom experiences can have an enormous impact on student success. Our faculty and staff are here to support both you and your child every step of the way.
