What is better than one Eppard? That's right, 3!
Join us this Friday, 10/23 at 9pm ET
for a special concert with The Eppard Brothers!
The Eppard Brothers is Joey Eppard, his brother and "Coheed and Cambria" drummer -Josh Eppard, along with their father, Jimmy Eppard. As a family band, sometimes under the banner, E-Males, their musical appearances are equally rare and tasty.
They appeared at Mariner's Harbor with Josh and former "Coheed and Cambria" bassist Mic Todd back in 2008. This same gig featured a few songs with original "3" bassist Chris Bittner. A little know fact is that this is the very gig where Josh would meet his future wife Tammy! They appeared again at The Anchor in 2014 with Jimmy Eppard and "3" electric guitarist Billy Riker.
Joey and Josh grew up playing music together, having taken over the family basement and watching their dad head off for many a gig. Jimmy has performed in numerous bands over the years including with Levon Helm in "The Band", The Gabe Butterfield Band, The Paul Luke Band, The Crowmatix, The Curmudgeons and others. Jimmy was the original producer and manager of "3" helping his boys schlep their gear and setting up PA's. In fact, Josh was only 11 when the guys landed their first gig.
This Friday, October 23rd the Eppard Brothers will be performing some of the earliest "3" material that pre-dates their music deal with Universal Records in 1997. We'll also have a chance to hear some of Jimmy's songs as well as some brand new material that Joey has been working on. It's going to be a mind-blowingly good night of music, brought to you LIVE virtually, via a YouTube watch party.
Individually each of these guys offer an mind-blowing performance, and as a family trio it's nothing short of magical!
