Venture Capital (VC) Dashboard Collaboration Event (CE)
SOFWERX, in collaboration with USSOCOM, will host a series of events to develop a Venture Capital (VC) Dashboard which will assist USSOCOM with identifying SOF-relevant technologies, both mature and emerging, within VC portfolios. The Dashboard will include information on companies, investors, deals, mergers and acquisitions, funds, advisors, and people along with the analytical tools to identify SOF-relevant technologies within the VC portfolios.

AF S&T Fellowship Fair - NRC Research Associate Program
Doolittle Institute is working to identify potential candidates for the NRC Research Associate Program (RAP) from U.S. colleges and universities for the Air Force Research Lab Munitions Directorate (AFRL/RW). The NRC RAP program promotes excellence in research conducted by U.S. Federally Funded Research & Development Centers (FFRDC) and related institutions. CFIC is a platform that helps solve challenging Warfighter problems through collaboration, ideation, events, and rapid prototyping. We host a Connector Series to strengthen and broaden science and technology collaborations among academia, and the Department of Defense (DoD) through a topic-focused interchange event. The Connector Series is an event series that aids in the seeking of university researchers who specialize in topics related to the application of cyberspace offensive/defensive autonomy research and development concepts and technologies. This Connector Series event will provide opportunities for academia to showcase their research to stakeholders from U.S. Army Cyber leaders.

Maritime Capable Tethered UAS Assessment Event (AE)
SOFWERX, in collaboration with SOF Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office Special Reconnaissance (PEO-SR), will host an Assessment Event (AE) to identify solutions for a small tethered Uncrewed Aerial System (UAS) that can operate in both land and saltwater maritime environments for intelligence gathering, surveillance and communications. The system must have some built in capability for full motion video, but also enable the hosting of modular payloads to perform additional functions.

The Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) in conjunction with its marketplace manager, IN3, is initiating an open comment period for industry, academia, and DOD input to shape a new Tradewind initiative entitled, the “Tradewind Solutions Marketplace.” The Tradewind Solutions Marketplace has an anticipated MVP “go-live” target of first quarter, Fiscal Year 2023. The CDAO, and its Marketplace Manager, IN3, however, intend to continue to collect and consider comments and suggestions from industry, academia, and government throughout the life of the Marketplace initiative.
