Meritorious Service Award
Mer-i-to-ri-ous: deserving of honor or esteem

Each year the Ravalli County 4-H program recognizes individuals, businesses, or organizations, who have exhibited consistent and strong support of the 4-H program. “Giving” relates to time, energy, leadership and/or support provided to enhance the educational mission of 4-H.

The nominees may or may not be 4-H leaders, teen members or volunteers. Recipients will be awarded during the Livestock Sale at the Ravalli County Fair.

If you have a nomination of someone you think should receive this award, please provide the name of the proposed recipient with explanation of their service to 4-H accompanied with your name and contact information. The 4-H Advisory Council will consider all nominations. Deadline is Friday, July 17.
Livestock Superintendents will be available at the Marketing Workshop
to help you complete fair entry forms correctly.
Livestock Quality Assurance Training
If you need youth Livestock Quality Assurance training for 2020, there is an inline pathway for you to complete that this year. We do not know when we will be able to have face to face meetings this spring or summer, but we do have this option for you to complete.

1)      Go to this link on the internet.  https://www.healthyagriculture.org/training/youth-4-h/

On this website you will find four interactive modules for Quality Assurance and biosecurity in your livestock projects. Follow along with each of the four modules, and complete the activities on each one.

2)      When you are done, go to this link:  https://forms.gle/SeJzmRCUCjnmBfCcA
When you get done with the QA modules, this link is a registration form documenting completion. After you complete the modules, go to the website and fill this out, and have an adult also sign that they agree, you did the four modules. That will certify you for QA this year.
