Strategic Summer
The summer of 2019 has been "strategic" for The Summit. In accordance with our strategic planning cycle, the Board of Trustees gathered a cross functional group of parents, students, faculty, admin, and board members to collaborate during 3 sessions led by facilitator Max Buetow. The group considered a thorough collection of data gathered about the schools performance, survey results and ISACS visiting team recommendations to form the top priorities and initiatives that will guide the school administration and Board of Trustees for the next 3-5 years.

Thank you to the following members of our community for dedicating your summertime hours to plan for the bright future ahead: Marissa Bradley (faculty),  Becky Breckner (admin),  Joe Easter (parent),  Melissa Gelner (board),  Joe Harper (parent),  Katie Heet (admin),  Billy Kimmons (parent),  Sarah Leighninger (faculty),  Anne Mason (board),  Evan Mason (student),  Susan Miranti (board),  Jennifer Newman (board),  Rachel Rothwell (parent),  Mark Sharp (board),  Emma Smith (faculty),  Angela Teters (parent),  Kristin Walker (admin),  Calla Yearta-Sothern (student), and  Gerald Zamora (parent)

The Strategic Planning committee will lead small working groups to draft the initial strategic plan through the fall. The group plans to publish the plan in December and will present in detail at the State of the School meeting in January 2020.

Visit the website for more information about the Strategic Planning process.
