SPO Needs Your Loose Change!
One, two, three, four, we declare a coin war!

We are excited to announce our first annual coin drive! Please join us in our efforts to raise money for The Summit Parent Organization. SPO uses these funds to support your school in many different ways. Each class will be provided with a large container to store their coins. The coin drive will run through the month of January, giving you plenty of time to round up all of that loose change from your couch cushions! Classrooms will get a chance to have a friendly competition with one another, and the kids will love to watch their jars fill up!

The prize? A donut party and traveling trophy for the class with the most coins!

For questions, please contact spo@thesummitprep.org.

8th Grade "Jump Up" Day
8th Grade students were able to "jump up" into high school last week! Students audited a dual credit World History class, learned more about the college admissions process in a virtual information session hosted by Lindsay Tobin, Director of Admissions at Drury University, and asked many thoughtful questions in an open Q&A panel of current Summit high schoolers.

It's hard to believe our 8th graders will soon be freshmen! We know the Class of 2025 is prepared to think creatively and collaborate together to tackle any challenge in high school, college, and beyond!
New Raven Hatching This Summer!
5th Grade has some very exciting news to share... Mrs. James is expecting!

Mrs. James enlisted the help of Mrs. Smith's Culinary Arts class to help surprise her students with some special gender reveal cupcakes, and... it's a girl!

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. James (and soon-to-be big brother Asher)! We look forward to meeting our new Summit family member this summer!
