Dear Ray's Customers,

Good afternoon to all! Wow! Has it been 55 years already?! It seems hard to believe, but Ray's opened in the summer of 1961 (pictured below is the Grand Opening Invitation!). Just like the rest of the world since 1961, sooooo much has changed in the universe of wine, spirits and beer; however, what has NOT changed is that Ray's has been, continues to and forever more, will be a family-owned shop.

(Groceries! Toys! Paper Specialties?!)

We've been debating since last summer how we could properly commemorate our 55th birthday, and in the end, we wanted to keep it simple and celebrate with the people that have made it all possible...YOU!

With that in mind, on Sunday, July 24th, rain or shine (we'll have a tent!), from noon to 5:00PM, Ray's is hosting a Parking Lot Party, and everyone is invited! We are closing off the entire parking lot (yes, the store and Growler Gallery will still be open during their normal hours!) and have a ton of fun happenings to celebrate!

Here is a list of some of the awesomeness planned for Sunday, July 24th:

- Falafel Guys Food Truck will be here right at noon and leave at 5PM, or when they sell out!

- Oscar's On A Roll Burger Truck will be here right at noon and leave at 5PM, or when they sell out!


- Lily's ice cream stand will be here at noon, with 50% of all profits going to the Hunger Task Force. Ray's will also be matching her sales that day to donate as well, so let one and all buy some ice cream for a great cause! As she is only 8 years old, she will be here with her mom and dad until sold out (or earlier if she's tired!)


- The band Fairly Local will be jamming out in the lot from 1PM - 5PM

- Bean Bag Toss and Ladderball for all 

- A big ass beautiful beer truck will be here with glorious rotating taps, including (notice the "55" pricing theme here?!):

- MKE Brewing Cer-RAY-Za: $2.55 per 16oz cup
- Founders All Day IPA: $2.55 per 16oz cup
- Oscar Blues Priscilla Wit: $2.55 per 16oz cup
- Ray's Rotating Reserve Selections: (Ever Changing)
- Sprecher Root Beer (it's fer da kids!): $.55 per 16oz cup 
- Bubbly: $3.55 per 5oz glass
- Ray's new, soon to be legendary Booze Slushies (Negroni Slushies and Gin and Tonic Slushies!) - 8oz pour

Booze slushies, beer, food trucks, ice cream and music - All outside on a beautiful Sunday in July! We hope you can make it! Although food and drink are not free of charge, the party is 100% free to attend and we hope you and your family can make it out to celebrate with our family at Ray's!

If you wish to order any of these wines, please email back with your name, how much of each quantity of wine you'd like, as well as your phone number. We will then email you back as soon as possible to tell you when your order can be picked up. However, please be advised that receipt of this email does not guarantee an allocation due to the fact that many offers are available in limited quantities. Also, if you know any other wine lovers who would enjoy Ray's mailing list offers, please email us their email address and we'd be happy to add them to our listserv! Please be advised that unfortunately all email orders that have not been picked up or paid for after 4 weeks from the date of an order confirmation will be put back into the store's stock or passed onto the waiting list. We do regret that this must be done; however for inventory and efficiency issues we feel this is the best way to help those customers on a waiting list that may not have received any of an allocated item be able to try certain wines that were left behind with no home!
