Dear Académie Lafayette Families, 

Re-enrollment for next year is now open for all AL students. All students need to complete the 2026-2027 Enrollment Survey to indicate your intent to return/not return to allow us to plan accordingly for next year’s enrollment. Please proceed through all re-enrollment forms to complete enrollment. Académie Lafayette International High School enrollment forms should be completed by February 8. All other students should complete enrollment by February 27.

Our PowerSchool online registration system is an easy and convenient way for you to provide the information we need to get your student(s) registered for the current/following school year. 

Here are some tips to make the process easier: 

• Some of the forms collect information about your entire family and some forms are specific to each student. 
• If there is a pencil icon next to an item, please click on it to open the menu and view the additional questions.
• At the bottom of each form is a submit button which is your acknowledgement that the information on the form is correct and serves as an electronic signature. You must hit the “Submit” button to complete the form. 
• All forms must be completed under the required Enrollment forms section for your student to be enrolled for the following school year and summer school, if applicable.
• Your student’s enrollment is not finalized until all required forms are completed and we have approved residency proofs and immunization if submitted. If not approved, you will need to submit additional documentation.
• If your student(s) will not be returning next school year, please log in and only complete the form called "2026-2027 Enrollment Survey". If only one of your students is leaving, please complete a form for each individual student (student names will be at the top).
• When submitting forms for family please click the arrow next to submit then click "Submit for family" and pick which students you would like to submit. Do not check a student not returning. If you hit submit once and want to add more students, you can select the arrow again and select additional members.

Step 1: Complete Enrollment forms 

In PowerSchool, select the student you are enrolling and click on the Forms link in the left navigation menu. 

1. Go to www.academielafayette.org.
2. Scroll down and select “PowerSchool Parent Portal”.
3. Log in. If you never created an account and/or need assistance, contact powerschool@academielafayette.org.
4. Click on "Forms" in the menu on the left.
5. Fill out the available enrollment forms.

Note: If you have a new sibling joining AL, do not add or enroll them until you have been notified of the seat offer after the lottery on March 4th. Enrollment instructions will be provided in the offer email. Any new student added prior to the lottery or who has not received an offer will be removed. All new siblings need to apply online at www.schoolappkc.org in order to be offered a seat at Académie Lafayette.

Deadline: ALIHS students should complete forms by February 8. All other AL students should complete forms by February 27 for the 26-27 school year and 2026 Summer School.



Step 2: Provide Documentation 

If you are unable to upload documentation via the “Upload” elements on the form, please email supporting documents to enrollment@academielafayette.org. The following documents are needed to complete enrollment: 

1. Health & immunization records 

• Any incoming PK, K, 8th, or 12th grader is required to upload an updated immunization record. Please contact your child's physician to check if any booster shots are missing and to obtain the most recent copy of their records. Uploading an old or out-of-date record will slow the approval process for your child's re-enrollment. Student immunization records are required to be in compliance with Missouri law prior to starting the current school year and summer school. 
• If you have a child with a food allergy, food allergies must have annually updated physician's notes on file to be eligible for classroom accommodations or notifications. 
• If you have a child with a medical action plan (asthma, allergies, diabetes, seizures, etc) please have an updated copy ready to upload. 
• If you have a student who will be participating in school-sponsored extracurricular athletics, a physical is required to be on file prior to participation in extracurricular athletics.

2. Proof of Residency

• Students who have not moved are required to submit one form of proof of residency from List A.
• Students at a new address must submit two proofs of residency, one from each category.
• List A: Original utility bill in the parent's/guardian's name (electric, gas, or water only), or paycheck stub listing resident address less than 30 days old.
• List B: Rental/lease contract, purchase agreement/real estate contract, deed, or mortgage statement for the home you are residing in currently.

The following will not be accepted: cable bill, bank statement, partial view/not full page document, dates not within the last 30 days. 

Notarization is required for residency affidavits if the parent/guardians’ names are not on the documents.

Step 3: Confirmation & Follow-Up

You will receive an email if additional documentation is required. Otherwise, you are good to go!
