It is finally happening! We have been approved for Phase 2 Opening! We are so excited to have live in studio classes again.
So much has changed in the 3 months we have been in quarantine. We are now in a new world. We have been through a massive global trauma with the pandemic and a quest for justice and anti-racism with Black Lives Matter. Nothing will ever be the same again. We are forever changed how we feel in our hearts and go about our lives. This is all being considered as we re-open our doors.
We know that yoga is more important than ever as it is the investigative tool to get to the truth in our mind, body, and soul. Our breath guides us down the pathway to new perspectives and peels back the layers from deep below the surface. This is all so important in our recovery from this trauma of pandemic and the constant quest for studying and learning to make systemic racial change and cultivate an anti-racist society.
Our community is strong. I am so excited to come together, to support each other, in our space to practice. Practice the vision that has and will continue to guide us down this path.
Community. Growth. Discovery.
Please see below for the details of the reopening. We look forward to seeing you soon!
With Love and Gratitude,
Leah Zaccaria, Owner/Teacher
Re-opening Procedures
shefayoga Roosevelt is confident we can reopen safely. Here is our plan for re-opening safely and mindfully.
- Please bring your own mat, towel, and any props you need. We will not be renting or sharing equipment at this time.
- Classes will be limited to 5 people plus the teacher.
- Wear masks upon check and until you get to your mat.
- Sanitize your hands
- Fill out the COVID waiver which includes a health screening.
- After check in, student enters the yoga room at a designated spot that is 6 feet apart from another mat.
- Once everyone is in their designated space, you may remove your mask. The student will remain in that space for the duration of the class. Once the class is over, masks go back on.
- The teacher will also stay at their designated spot 6 feet away from all students, with no hands on assists or adjustments.
- Extra cleaning measures will take place between each class including disinfecting high touch surfaces.
- Pre-registration required. Please sign up on Mindbody and pay ahead of time.
- To ensure all available spots are filled each class, there will be a strict cancellation policy. If you cancel at any time, you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. So please do not sign up for classes unless you are sure you can make it! Also, please be mindful to allow others to take classes when you are choosing how many to register for. We will take other measures if it becomes an issue.
