CHF COVID-19 Protocols
The health and safety of our members and staff remains our top priority. As we are able to safely allow more participation in person, we will provide updates on the reopening of our other programs. We can't wait to see everyone back in person in the near future!

CHF programming will continue to be guided by the L.A. County Department of Public Health and its Health Officer Order Appendix L: "Reopening Protocol for Gyms and Fitness establishments" to keep our community safe and to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Masking Requirements Remain in L.A. County: While the County's metrics continue to remain low and stable, there continues to be COVID-19 transmission in California, particularly among those who are not fully vaccinated. For that reason, the State will be keeping its current masking guidance until June 15, and Los Angeles County will do the same and remain in alignment with the Los Angeles County Health Officer Order of May 3.

NEW HOURS: To allow ample time for cleaning, our new hours are:
Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Reopening FAQ
Will instructors and members all be required to wear face masks while at CHF, even if they are fully vaccinated?
Yes. Any person at CHF (including those who are vaccinated against COVID-19) will be required to wear a face mask. The Health Officer Order states that face masks are required.

Where do I enter CHF?
You will check-in on the first floor by the elevators in front of the cafe. You must have an appointment to enter. To protect the safety of residents at Silverado, members are not allowed to enter or exit via the front sliding doors.

Where do I exit CHF?
You will exit using the elevators in the CHF hallway by manager offices, left of the front desk. You must then exit on the first floor by the cafe. To protect the safety of residents at Silverado, members are not allowed to enter or exit via the front sliding doors. There will be arrows directing you.

Do you have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 to attend CHF in person?
No, this is not a requirement for working out at CHF. However, face masks are required.

Will you be required to sign-up to use CHF in person?
Yes, appointments are required. Before you enter CHF, we will verify your appointment. All members coming to CHF in person will be required to fill out a COVID-19 code of conduct form. If you would like to fill yours out in advance and bring it with you to your appointment, see HERE. You only need to fill this out once.

Does Beach Cities Health District and the Center for Health & Fitness recommend I get the COVID-19 vaccine if I am eligible?
The Beach Cities Health District Medical Advisory Committee strongly recommends residents to get a COVID-19 vaccine that has been authorized by the FDA. Getting the vaccine is voluntary, although vaccines are an important public health measure to protect the health of not only yourself, but of your community.
