Thank You National Rebuilding Month ReBuilders!

As we celebrate 30 years of service, we're honored to mark another successful National Rebuilding Month in the books. Fifteen teams from various organizations joined us to make a difference in the lives of families living in Richmond's Southside.  Our amazing ReBuilders provided transformative repairs such as repainting homes, landscaping, replacing fencing, and repairing stairs and railings. As a result, neighbors like Mr. Ronald can live healthier and safer in their homes. Thanks to our Critical Home Repair program, our volunteers were able to build upon work completed by professional contractors. At Mr. Everette's house, we had previously replaced the roof, upgraded the electrical system, insulated the crawlspace, and replaced the furnace and air conditioner. Funds from the Community Development Block Grant program and a Stanley, Black & Decker grant covered costs to complete these much-needed repairs.  To conclude this project, we partnered with our long-standing supporters from AdvanSix to rebuild a once dilapidated deck, repair the front porch, and provide additional upgrades.
