We are getting in a huge number of donations lately. Some of these hot items get purchased very quickly and we're thrilled when that happens.

But other amazing high-quality items might be out of fashion. That's why I love seeing people take advantage of used furniture and re-purpose it. Last month I mentioned "coffee bars from recycled TV Cabinets". This month I have another collection of ideas for you. I hope they inspire you to repurpose something. Get to know Matthew Tingey:

Q: What are your Interests & Hobbies?

My interests include working on electronics and anything mechanical.

Q: What Attracted You To Grass Valley?

I was born in Wellington New Zealand. I love the beautiful diversity of the Grass Valley area; the mountains, lakes, and rivers. I love camping too! My hobbies include riding dirt bikes, go cart racing, hiking, 4 wheeling and anything that has to do with water!

Q: What do you like about working at the ReStore?

I love being able to help customers in the various departments of the ReStore, and with electronics, tools, and other outdoor gear. It's nice learning new things and I always find the other staff, and customers, friendly and helpful.

How to save even more at the ReStore:

In every department throughout the ReStore, you'll see a markdown sign with four color blocks. This sign indicates which color tags are connected to our extra sale discounts.

*Just remember that the colors change monthly!*er in

1. Items received within the last month are full-price (green tags).

2. Items received one month ago are 25% off (orange tags).

3. Items received two months ago are 50% off (yellow tags).

4. Items received three months ago are 75% off (blue tags).
