DONATE  Invest in ending homelessness. ReUNITED and it feels so good Greetings! Summer seems made for family and friends, good food, and fun games. We had all that and more at our alumni reunion!   This annual event is a chance to catch up with families who have been in our program and is also a perfect opportunity for our current families see the change they are working towards.   "It's inspiring to meet these alumni... I told my son that someday we're going to be one of them!"- current family   This year over 90 people attended! A special thanks to ABQ Involved and all our volunteers who brought food, painted faces, and a million other tasks that made it a great day.   One of the sentiments universally shared by attendees was the feeling of nurturing comfort evoked from stepping back onto our campus, and their reignited excitement for their accomplishments!  Overwhelmingly, our alumni confirmed Saranam’s continued efficacy. A whopping 86 percent of those who have exited successfully remain stable. Staying connected with our alumni is an important part of our mission. Our programming helps keep community alive and gives them resources and education that will keep them stable and moving forward. What a great way to begin our summer! PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT

If you were passing by our Weil Family Center this spring, chances were good you could catch the soothing strum of a ukulele!   Thanks to Bumble Bee Bob’s Musical Adventures, families had the opportunity to take ukulele lessons from Rock101 and even take an instrument home. They showed off all they learned at a concert that knocked our socks off!   The benefits of learning and exploring music are well documented, but is an opportunity not often afforded to low-income families. Everyone who participated in the program expressed pride in their growth and perseverance and have plans to continue their studies at home.

Community Corner Clearing Ground Faith Lutheran Summer Volunteering Save the Date! Want to get involved? Head over to our website to check out the latest volunteer opportunities. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES Clearing Ground It’s happening!!! Construction crews cleared away brush and leveled the ground for our ADC Family Campus this month!   With work ramping up quickly, regular access to our warehouse is difficult, and so we have temporarily paused accepting donations of furniture and other household item. These baskets ensure apartments are fully stocked with the essentials when families move in. We are so grateful to the generous parishioners who signed up to fulfill these needs in record time! Summer Volunteering Summer is SUCH a fun time to get involved at Saranam. We have lots of ways you can help set up apartments, spruce up the campus, and prepare for new families.
