We spent the weekend battling the elements, clearing snow and ice while simultaneously spreading deicer and gravel. Single-digit temperatures and gale-force winds made the work incredibly challenging, but our team persevered. The brutal cold hampered our efforts, as some equipment refused to start and the liquid deicer thickened, making application difficult. Protecting our team working in the biting wind chills added another layer of complexity. With the threat of freezing rain looming on Tuesday, we remain on high alert. |
