Pick Up the Phone and Call
A phone call may seem simple, but its impact can be profound. Hearing your voice is often a source of comfort and joy. Take a moment to share holiday greetings, ask about their day, and reminisce about fond holiday memories. Sometimes, the simplest gestures make the biggest difference.
Send Thoughtful Holiday Cards
Handwritten holiday cards or letters are a timeless way to stay in touch. A personal note filled with love and holiday cheer can become a cherished keepsake. Including family photos or sharing updates makes your cards even more special.

Moosehaven Executive Director Helen Taylor was proud to present a check for $7,500 this month to Grove Park Elementary School in Orange Park, Florida. The funds will be used to support enrichment programs for science, technology, art and mathematics, as well as initiatives focused on attendance, academic achievement, character values, and social and professional skill development. The donation was funded by the sale of $5 tasting kits at Moosehaven’s 2024 Chili Cook-Off & Car Show.
Moosehaven also presented the Town of Orange Park Police and Fire Rescue departments with fried turkeys, Honey Baked hams, and cookies to show appreciation for the dedication and support offered to our residents and staff from the fine men and women serving as our first responders.

Tree Lighting Festivities | |
Moosehaven’s beloved Christmas Tree Lighting, sponsored for the last 28 years by the Georgia Moose Association, was held December 6-7.
Festivities included a tea party, pizza night, a picnic, and the grand finale: the chapel tree lighting, where the entire campus lit up in a breathtaking display. A wine and cheese social was held with a cameo appearance by none other than Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Thank you, Georgia Moose Association, for making this cherished tradition a highlight of our holiday season.
