Moosehaven knows how to throw a Christmas party! Residents enjoyed a filet and shrimp dinner in their halls followed by dancing in the Michigan Building.

Door prizes and a visit from Santa himself rounded out the evening. Everyone enjoyed a magical night of fun and fellowship! A big thanks to all involved with making the holiday season a special one for our residents.

Moosehaven opened its gates to the community on December 15 for "Cocoa and Carols." The annual event, organized by Concert on the Green, featured 18 choirs, bands, and performing arts groups from local schools sharing the sounds of the season in a free outdoor concert.

Food trucks, crafters, and vendors lined River Road behind campus offering festive eats and holiday treats. The event concluded with a firetruck parade featuring Santa sponsored by the Town of Orange Park.

Moosehaven’s most anticipated holiday event of the season, The Christmas Tree Lighting, and its accompanying festivities was held the weekend of December 7-9.

Generous members from the Georgia Moose Association have sponsored this event for the last 27 years. The festive weekend included a pizza party, ladies' tea, men's social, a wine & cheese party, and the grand finale – the annual tree lighting!

Moosehaven welcomed prospective residents on Dec. 6 for a Holiday "Sip & Shop."

Guests were invited to meet with our resident crafters – who showcased their handmade treasures – and enjoyed holiday refreshments and free gift wrapping. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour our newly renovated Florida Hall.

The Golf Invitational is part of Moosehaven’s Heart of the Community program which exemplifies the Moose commitment to communities and families by providing safe, family oriented and entertaining events.
