101st Anniversary Party
Moosehaven celebrated 101 years of serving seniors on October 3, 2023, with an 101st anniversary party!

Residents enjoyed a lovely meal, cake, and fellowship and received a commemorative t-shirt in honor of the occasion.

With a full range of programs and services, Moosehaven provides seniors 65 and older a comfortable and secure retirement option. Residents enjoy the benefits of social interaction and support services within a residential community that has served members of The Moose since 1922.
Low Country Boil
Moosehaven ushered in fall with our annual Low Country Boil.

Residents enjoyed a fabulous meal of crab, crawfish, and all the fixings while listening to live music, dancing, and socializing with friends. A wonderful time was had by all!
Duck Races
Moosehaven residents got their ducks in a row for the Moosehaven Duck Race!

Residents selected numbered ducks – no two of which looked egg-xactly the same. It was ‘poultry in motion’ watching them compete in three 'heated' races in Moosehaven’s heated therapy pool. Winners received cash prizes. The event was sponsored by the Women of the Moose with proceeds benefitting the AAA Project.
Senior Olympics Bowling
Congratulations to our residents who participated in the Senior Olympics Bowling event at the Batt Family Fun Center.

Moosehaven had 14 bowlers participate, and all received either bronze, silver, or gold medals.

Glenna McClain, our 101-year-old resident, brought home the gold!
Pig Roast
A pig roast was held for all Moosehaven residents during October with Four Townes Moose Lodge and Sanford Moose Lodges generously sponsoring the event.

The pigs were roasted throughout the night and delicious pulled pork was enjoyed by all. Desserts were provided by Helen & Pete and Gini Gage. A big thank you to all involved!
Resident Halloween Party
Moosehaven residents brought out their most ‘SPOOKtacular’ costumes yet at this year’s Resident Halloween Party and Costume Parade!

From ghosts and goblins to favorite characters like Minnie Mouse, Superman, and Harry Potter, we couldn’t get enough of how clever, cute, and creepy everyone looked! Prizes were awarded for best costumes, and delicious treats and Halloween brews were served.

Congratulations to our costume winners and to all who participated. Our Moosehaven residents know how to have a ghoulishly good time!
