Community Activities

American Pride 4th of July

Earlier this summer, Moosehaven opened its gates to the community for our annual American Pride 4th of July celebration!

Attendees reveled in live music, family-friendly activities, delicious food, and a spectacular fireworks display along Moosehaven's waterfront on the beautiful St. Johns River.

This beloved community event is part of Moosehaven’s Heart of the Community program and thrives thanks to the generosity of Moose members and Moosehaven staff who volunteer their time to bring these events to life!

Senior Living & Wellness Expo

Join us for a day of fun, prizes, and information for active seniors!

Moosehaven is hosting a Senior Living & Wellness Expo, including representatives from a variety of organizations focusing on health and wellness, senior activities, home improvement, downsizing, veteran benefits, and more! This event is free to the public.

If you would like to participate in our event passport program, please register online to reserve your FREE passport. Attendees with all the stamps on their passports will be entered into our door prize drawings throughout the day.

Jimmy Buffett Party

Moosehaven residents got a little taste of 'Margaritaville' at our recent Jimmy Buffett themed beach party, enjoying dancing, food and margaritas

Guests embraced the island spirit wearing vibrant Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts, and flip flops while swaying to the music of the George Aspinall Band.

A big thanks to Big Pine Key Lodge in Key West for sponsoring a parrot head's dream party!

International Moose Convention

Moosehaven's fantastic four -Helen Taylor, Marina Mathews, Angela Wood, and LeeAnn Robbins - hit the streets of New Orleans to represent Moosehaven at the International Moose Convention!

Raushan Hammond Magic Show

Moosehaven residents were treated to a magical evening as Raushan Hammond, acclaimed master magician and star of Steven Spielberg’s Hook, took the stage for a mesmerizing performance.

The act featured an array of spellbinding stage illusions, humor, and storytelling against the accompaniment of big band music. A great time was had by all!

Moosehaven's Got Talent 2024

Each year Moosehaven is thrilled to highlight the incredible talents of our residents with a spectacular talent show!

Kudos to both the residents and staff for their dedication in organizing an amazing and delightfully entertaining “Moosehaven’s Got Talent” show. Our seniors truly stole the spotlight!
