Museum Passes
The Library is able to provide a variety of museum passes with generous funding from the Friends of the Ledyard Library. Each pass offers free admission or a discount to their facilities.
Call ahead to secure your pass! We can hold a pass for one hour at our circulation desks at Bill Library and Gales Ferry Library.

The Ledyard Public Library Seed Library is up and running! We are so thrilled to have such a wonderful start to our season; so far, we’ve already given out over 1,300 seed packets!! That’s about 65 packets a day at Bill and 19 packets a day at Gales Ferry since the Seed Library started this year. Call us a dandelion seed because we’re just blown away by those numbers! We have more seeds to give, so if you haven’t had a chance to pick any up, please swing by either of our locations. A continued thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who have helped make this possible. Questions, comments or suggestions for programs? Our next meeting is Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Bill Library. The Executive meeting begins at 6:00 pm; the general meeting begins at 7:15. All are welcome at both meetings.
Thank you to all who participated in our Speed Puzzle Contest. Please let us know if you are interested in more speed puzzling. We had a 500 piece puzzle.

During our April meeting we will be holding our annual elections. We are in need of a President, as this is my last term according to the by law. We will also need a Vice President and a Member at Large. You are welcome to volunteer for or to nominate someone for any position on the board, and are encouraged to. A nomination form will be posted on the website, or you can email publicityFOLL@gmail.com to nominate yourself or a friend.

Remember to visit the ongoing book sales at both libraries - in the meeting room at Bill Library, and the Book Cellar at Gales Ferry Library, each of which are open during normal library hours. All sales go towards support of the library.
It has been a privilege to be the president of the Friends for the past four years. Thank you to all who have supported me, including the rest of the board, our committee chairs, library staff, and all who have volunteered countless (it's hard to remember to fill out those volunteer sheets!) hours with all the Friends do to support the library. I will continue to be an active member of the Friends, and I'll see you at the next book sale.

Spring Egg Hunt

The Spring Egg Hunt is hosted by the Ledyard Parks and Recreation Department and is for children up to 10 years of age to hunt for eggs. Children will be divided into age groups. Don't forget your basket!
