Friends of the Ledyard Library

Support the Library – Get Involved with the Friends!

Love the library? The Friends of the Ledyard Library are looking for new faces and energy to help us continue supporting Bill and Gales Ferry Libraries through programs, events, and fundraising efforts that benefit the whole community. Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to town, this is a great opportunity to meet neighbors, give back, and make a difference. Please check out our newly designed Facebook page at Facebook.

We now have a merchandise website up and running! Tote bags, cinch backpacks, tumblers, notebooks, and shirts are all available with a variety of logos from both FOLL and the Ledyard Libraries. Proceeds from each item purchased will come back to the Friends to help support our libraries. Items can be ordered through Make Your Mark Customs under the Friends link. Friends of Ledyard Library - Make Your Mark Customs. Additionally, we now have a few of the tote bags available for purchase at both libraries!

Come visit us this summer at the Ledyard Farmers Market when you come to see all the wonderful local vendors! We will be there once a month, specifically June 24, July 1, August 19, and September 2. We can help with any membership questions, merch purchases, or general donations.

Remember to visit the ongoing book sales at both libraries- in the meeting room at Bill Library, and the Book Cellar at Gales Ferry Library, each of which are open during normal library hours.

Join us at our next quarterly meeting on Thursday, July 9 at Gales Ferry Library--the Executive Board meets at 6:00 p.m., and the General Meeting starts at 7:15 p.m.

All are welcome! For questions or to join us, contact Olivia Pearce at FOLLpresident@gmail.com. We can't wait to meet you!
