Welcome aboard, Alyssa Drake!
Alyssa has been working in libraries for about seven years and is thrilled to join the team at the Ledyard Public Library. She grew up in North Stonington and Mystic, and just moved back to the area after being in Oregon for a few years. When she's not telling everyone how amazing libraries are, she's probably drawing, painting, watching movies, or reading. Currently, she's diving into Lord of the Rings! Stop in and see her at the Ledyard Library in Gales Ferry.

I love Ledyard Library because...
February is National Library Lover’s month, and we are asking our patrons and community members what they love about the Ledyard Library. Stop by anytime during the month of February to fill out a heart stating what you love about your library.
If you have a little extra love for your library, consider making a donation. All of our programming funding comes from donations, fundraising, and grants.

Our Seed Library volunteers have been busy cleaning and packaging locally grown native seeds, as well as preparing our inventory of prepackaged commercial seeds. We are looking forward to opening the 2024 Ledyard Seed Library for the season later this month. Stay tuned! In the meantime, stop by Ledyard Bill or Ledyard Gales Ferry Library to choose from our wide variety of gardening books. In addition, we will soon have an assortment of seed catalogs available to help with your garden planning. Spring is right around the corner! Any questions, please email Laura at lnorcia@ledyardlibrary.org. | |
