Update to Library Hours

We will be closed on Monday, February 19 for Presidents' Day.

Welcome aboard, Alyssa Drake!

Alyssa has been working in libraries for about seven years and is thrilled to join the team at the Ledyard Public Library. She grew up in North Stonington and Mystic, and just moved back to the area after being in Oregon for a few years. When she's not telling everyone how amazing libraries are, she's probably drawing, painting, watching movies, or reading. Currently, she's diving into Lord of the Rings! Stop in and see her at the Ledyard Library in Gales Ferry.

I love Ledyard Library because...

February is National Library Lover’s month, and we are asking our patrons and community members what they love about the Ledyard Library. Stop by anytime during the month of February to fill out a heart stating what you love about your library.

If you have a little extra love for your library, consider making a donation. All of our programming funding comes from donations, fundraising, and grants.

Thank you to the following donors for their generous contributions

Erin and Kyle Quada

You are supporting library excellence for the residents of Ledyard and Gales Ferry and are helping us carry out our mission. We are very grateful!

Honoring Black Voices

In honor of Black History Month, and throughout the year, we celebrate Black authors and their tremendous contribution to literature, past and present. Looking for your next great read or a recommendation? Check out our special displays recognizing Black authors in both library buildings this month!

Tax Forms are available

Ledyard Library now has the Federal 1040 and 1040-SR tax forms available to pick up for free. The accompanying instruction booklet for these forms are coming soon.

If you require a different Federal form or a State form, our staff can assist you with printing for the standard printing fee of 10 cents per page.

Take Your Child to the Library Day (TYCLD) is an international initiative that encourages families to take their children to their local library. Join the celebration with us on Saturday, February 3!
