PowerSchool Annual Update Forms - Complete by Friday, August 15

The PowerSchool Parent Portal is now open. We ask all parents to please log in to your parent portal and complete the Annual Update Form by Friday, August 15.

Donations Needed - Back-to-School Night Teacher Appreciation Meal

We are truly grateful for our parents and the Trinity Club, who graciously provide meals to our staff throughout the year. Our first staff meal will be on Back-to-School Night on Wednesday, August 13. Click here to sign up to bring a dish or to learn how you can make a monetary donation.

Parking Registration

Please click here to register for parking if you or your student has not yet applied. Students should only complete this registration once they have a driver’s license and a car to park on campus. All student parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in any unnumbered paved parking spot.

Free & Reduced Lunch Applications Are Now Open

The application for the Free & Reduced Lunch program is now open. This is a reminder that everyone needs to reapply each year, unless a student is considered Directly Certified (those that receive TANF, SNAP, Medicaid, or any FSSA Benefit). Income-based applications are processed within 24 hours and benefits are applied immediately. Students who are Directly Certified will receive formal notification by August 6, 2025. If you do not receive notification, please email or call the Foodservice Director, Michael Dlugosz.

Please do not assume that your student is receiving benefits unless you have received formal notification. Please reach out if you are unsure of your benefits.

Senior Families - Important Scholarship News

Lilly Endowment Scholarship Deadline - THIS SUNDAY

A reminder that the deadline for the Lilly Endowment Scholarship is Sunday, August 10 at 11:59 pm. This full-tuition scholarship (room and board not included) covers four years at a university in Indiana. Click here for more information and for the nomination request form. David E. Drew Scholarship for Catholic High School Tuition

This scholarship provides financial assistance in the form of grants for high school tuition and related fees to students who meet the following criteria:

• Students who have suffered the loss of a parent
• Students who have a parent with a permanent disability
• Students who are currently enrolled or plan to enroll in an Indianapolis Metro area Catholic high school

Join Us!

Another exciting year of Trojan athletics is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to cheer on our student-athletes together! The Bishop Chatard Athletic Booster Club plays a vital role in supporting our Athletic Department—providing funding, organizing parent social events, and enhancing the overall experience for our teams and fans throughout the year. Most Booster Club membership levels include season passes, allowing you to skip the ticket line and enjoy admission to all regular-season home games across all sports (excluding City, Conference, and IHSAA tournament events). Colts Season Ticket Raffle

The Athletic Booster Club is holding a raffle for four (4) Indianapolis Colts season tickets, with proceeds benefiting both our overall athletic program—including the weight room and athletic training—and your individual teams through your participation! Raffle tickets are $10 each and can be purchased by cash or check only (in accordance with Indiana Gaming License regulations) through the BCHS Athletic Office or directly from a team’s head coach or designated representative.

Tailgate Party - Saturday, August 9

One of the Athletic Booster Club’s most enjoyable events, our annual Tailgate Party, is set for Saturday, August 9 in the Auxiliary Gym—rain or shine! This adults-only evening is all about fun and Trojan spirit, featuring our signature “Trojan Horse” Cookout and great company, all while supporting Bishop Chatard athletics.

Guests will also have the opportunity to pick up their Booster season passes and member gifts, and we’ll cap off the evening with the drawing for the Colts Season Tickets Raffle. RSVP here! More details coming soon!

Trivia Night - Saturday, October 4

New this fall, the Athletic Booster Club is excited to host our annual Trivia Night—a fun evening in support of Trojan athletics! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 4 at 6:30 pm, proudly sponsored by Blingle Premier Lighting and Zink Distributing. All proceeds will benefit all BCHS athletic teams. We’d love to see our community come together for this exciting event! Part-Time School Nurse Bishop Chatard High School is seeking a part time nurse, starting in the 2025-2026 school year. Substitute Teachers - Trojan Tots Preschool

Trojan Tots Preschool is hiring substitute teachers from August to May, working with children of all ages. This substitute position offers flexible hours, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, and follows the same school calendar as Bishop Chatard High School. Our preschool serves children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Substitute teachers are needed to cover classrooms when teachers are absent, as well as to cover lunch breaks and prep time.
