News from Our Nursing Office

Bishop Chatard is pleased to share that our nursing office is fully staffed by two Nurse Practitioners. We are also excited to partner with a school-based health program called Nurses Direct Connect to provide convenient basic medical care options for our students and staff. More information about this partnership and available services will be shared in a separate communication in the near future.

Ski Club Trip Cancelled

Perfect North announced their closure for the season, so this Friday's Ski Club trip is CANCELLED. To all Ski Club members: thanks for a wonderful first year of Ski Club! We'll be back next year.

BCHS Easter Egg Dash - Saturday, April 4

Please join us at the 2026 BCHS Easter Egg Dash on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 9:30 am. This family-friendly event for children 10 and under is sure to make your Easter weekend a fun one.

CSI: Chicago 2026 - Applications Due Friday, March 20

CSI: Chicago 2026 will take place June 22–25 at the Brother David Darst Center in Chicago. This Christian Service Immersion trip invites Bishop Chatard students to put their faith into action through service with local agencies, while learning about Catholic Social Teaching through daily prayer, reflection, and simple living.

The trip is limited to 12 students, with priority given to juniors and seniors, and counts toward Area 2 service hours. Applications are due March 20, 2026. The cost is $475 per participant. Please contact Mr. Hilton for additional details.

The Indianapolis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is hosting their annual Couture Prom Closet on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Arsenal Technical High School from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. HBCU Virtual Admissions Discussion - Monday, March 16

BCHS is excited to co-host a virtual panel discussion with Spelman College, Howard University, and Morehouse College on Monday, March 16, from 7:00–8:00 pm, focused on the HBCU college experience. Admissions representatives from each institution will share insights about their campuses and discuss the unique benefits of attending a Historically Black College or University. This event is open to all students and families in grades 9–12.

Tickets are on sale now for BCHS Theatre's spring musical Cinderella on April 16, 17, and 18. Performances will be held in the BCHS Main Gym, with doors opening at 6:30 pm and the show starting at 7:00 pm.
