PSAT/SAT Testing

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will take the PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, or SAT tomorrow, Thursday, March 5. Students must report to their assigned testing location by 8:35 am in full school uniform. Please plan to arrive early to allow time to reach testing rooms. Dismissal will be approximately 11:00 am once testing concludes.

Because these exams are administered electronically, students must bring a fully charged school-issued iPad. Juniors will take the SAT during the school day, which is a graduation requirement. Seniors do not have to report to school on this day, and can use this day for school work or college visits.

Room assignments and test-day details have been posted on the School Counseling Canvas page. Please contact Michelle Wilson with any questions.

Guest Speaker Darin Odier - Keeping Our Youth Safe in a Digital World

Bishop Chatard will welcome the Joseph Maley Foundation and Chief Investigator Darin Odier on Monday, March 9, for presentations focused on helping young people stay safe in today’s digital world. Investigator Odier, a 36-year law enforcement veteran who specializes in crimes against children and serves on the FBI’s Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force, will speak to students during their FLEX period and share insights on internet safety and responsible technology use.

Parents are invited and strongly encouraged to attend a parent-only presentation at 6:30 pm in the Main Gym. This session will offer practical guidance for families navigating the challenges of social media and online activity. Please note that, due to the sensitive nature of some material presented, the evening session is intended for adult participants only. If you have questions or concerns regarding your student’s participation in the daytime presentation, please contact Principal John Hasty by email or call 317-251-1451.

CSI: Chicago 2026 - June 22-25

The trip is limited to 12 students, with priority given to juniors and seniors, and counts toward Area 2 service hours. Applications open March 3 and are due March 20, 2026. The cost is $475 per participant. Please contact Mr. Hilton for additional details.
