Road Closures

Thank you to our BCHS community for your flexibility and cooperation as demolition is taking place along Evanston Avenue, across from the baseball field. We appreciate your patience as we navigate temporary traffic restrictions in this area.

A reminder that parking is no longer available along the third baseline, but students may park along the first baseline and use the walking path to access the building. Those traveling to school from the south should use 58th Street to Crittenden Avenue and then Northgate Street to reach the main parking lot. The third baseline parking area will remain closed until demolition is complete.

Class of 2030 Admissions Deadlines

Do you have a current 8th grader? The admissions application deadline for the Class of 2030 is Tuesday, November 25. Please click here to submit your application. The financial aid application is due Monday, December 1. Please click here to learn more about financial aid and to apply.

Service Hours Due - Saturday, December 6

Christmas Concert - Tuesday, December 9

Come enjoy an evening filled with the sounds of Christmas! Members of all BCHS choir and band ensembles will perform on Tuesday, December 9, at 7:00 pm in the Main Gym. This festive event is free and open to everyone—don’t miss it!

Christmas on Crittenden - Friday, December 5

Join us on Friday, December 5 from 5:30-7:00 pm for our annual Christmas on Crittenden celebration! Stroll down Crittenden Avenue toward Door #10, where you’ll be greeted by a real North Pole reindeer! Then step inside our winter wonderland (the Auxiliary Gym) to enjoy crafts, snacks, and a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Bring the whole family and celebrate the season with us at BCHS! University of Notre Dame Leadership Seminars

Leadership Seminars is a competitive, ten-day program held on the University of Notre Dame campus for academically talented students who demonstrate outstanding leadership in their communities. Participants may be eligible to earn one transferable college credit upon completion of the program. Tuition, housing, and meals are fully funded by the University of Notre Dame for students admitted to the program. Click here for the application and additional information. Royal Irish Rugby Meeting - Thursday, December 4

The Royal Irish rugby team for high school boys is meeting Thursday, December 4 at Northside Events (formerly the Knights of Columbus at 71st & Keystone). New and returning players and their parents are invited to come out and meet the coaches and hear about the upcoming season! Help Wanted - Trojan Tots Preschool

Trojan Tots Preschool is hiring substitute teachers from August to May, working with all ages. This substitute position has flexible hours from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm. Trojan Tots follows the same school calendar as Bishop Chatard High School. Our preschool serves children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. Substitute teachers are used to cover classrooms when teachers are off as well as to cover lunch breaks and prep time. Interested individuals should email their resume to Kathryn Grose, Director of Early Childhood Education.
